Profit 500’s 2015 Ranking of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies was released today, and lists the country’s most profitable businesses based on five year revenue growth. The results are great news for ScribbleLive.
ScribbleLive reported five year revenue growth of 4,887% between 2009 and 2014, which is the tenth fastest growing company in all of Canada. Western Manufacturing came in at number one with a whopping 25,719% five year growth.
According to Profit 500 software companies accounted for 10% of the businesses on the master list. ScribbleLive placed second on the list of fastest growing software companies in Canada, trailing only mobile wireless service provider Enflick.
The report also notes that Canada’s 51 fastest growing software firms collectively grew revenues by an average of 740% over five years. The software industry collectively added thousands of new jobs to the economy over that period of time, a testament to the increased innovation and diversity that is fueling growth within the industry.
Innovation is an important part of the software industry and the larger Canadian economy. ScribbleLive is proud that our CEO Vince Mifsud was invited to participate in a fireside chat hosted by Canadian Innovation Exchange, a Toronto-based forum that will host a CIX Mixer. This event will discuss how to become a category leader, the importance of organic and inorganic growth, and the strategic value of investors.
Vince has highlighted ScribbleLive’s leadership in the field of content marketing in previous interviews. His message has consistently emphasized that content marketing helps brands succeed in an increasingly competitive world.
