Upload images
We accept JPEG, GIF or PNG image file types and they will be automatically scaled. Simply post the URL of an image in the comment box and it will instantly appear, or grab one or more images from your desktop and a progress indicator will be visible to you while you post them.
Audio & video uploading
Upload any standard audio or video file and it will be trans-coded on-the-fly and posted in seconds to your live stream. Great for quick shots or sound bytes from a live event.
Web cam recording
Use your web cam to record a quick message for your watchers and post effortlessly.
Video comments
Allow watchers to use their web cams to record comments for your live event. See them instantly appear in the stream. (Additional fee)

Use the event email address to post text, images and video from any email application or website.
Twitter integration
Follow those important Twitter accounts with a quick click. Or use a search box to find any tweets with your key word and a list will appear, enabling you to post them to your live stream. We even resolve the most popular Twitter image URL's for you and pull in the full image as you post. Or sign up for our Twitter smart search and filtering engine to capture the most relevant Tweets while reducing the noise. (Additional fee)
Flickr images
Any images you post to your public Flickr feed will appear in your live stream seconds later.
Customized embed
Copy the event embed and you can have the ScribbleLive experience on your web site in seconds. You have control of the background colour, the text font, size and colour for your content, comments, and meta data, link and divider line colour and style, avatars on or off and the size of your embed. At the bottom of the embed, your watchers will be able to control sound, turn off user comments to reduce the posts to authors only, access help, change font size, RSS, translate languages and launch the Desktop Notifier Application.

Social network login for comments
By using your existing Social Network accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, MySpace and Google) we have made it simple and safe to login.
Anonymous comments
Retain anonymity by choosing a name and an avatar while commenting.
Approved commenter
Give special privileges to a select few by allowing them ‘authorized commenter’ status during a live stream.
Comments via email
If email is your preferred way of communication, set-up a custom comment email address for your event.
Unlimited writers or watchers
There's no limit to the number of people that can watch your live event or the number of people you invite to write along with you.
Edit posts and comments instantly
As soon as you hit enter, you can edit right on the web page without the need for any special administration back end. Simply click and edit.
Moderate comments
All comments appear for you and your writers to moderate. You can edit the comment before posting, invite the commenter to become a full participant or ban them from the event.
Ban users
Even with moderation turned on sometimes there are people who just won’t go away. Ban them by event, or globally from all events or even by their IP, if they keep changing their login credentials.
Profanity filter
We have different levels of filtering depending on what you think is acceptable.
Spam protection
When you enter information in the comment box, we run that data through Akismet to ensure spammers aren't filling your event with trackback pings or spam.
Avatar support
Upload your favourite image or login through your Twitter or Facebook account and we’ll use your existing avatar.
Sharing
Share just a post or the event URL with your favorite social networks. We will even shorten the URL for you.
