The first class of Go Venture 21 was amazing. Not only was the information great (which it was) but the group was vibrant, and a live with passion for what is about to happen - a change from being an employee, to the other e-word (entrepreneur) . I'm certain that for both myself and others, this course will offer amazing information, and more importantly, endless networking possibilities. Looking forward to posting - and getting feedback from others.

Still working on images, and a live feed from Go Venture #21, but I digress.
Class #2 - How Much Do I Really Cost?
I feel this was a pivotal class for anyone who attended, or has gone in the past. For us in Go Venture #21, this was our second class, and we were joined by class #20 in understanding how to properly cost ourselves.
With the opening joke of - "Men, how can you make sure you'll always remember your anniversary" I knew the class was going to be a good one. (oh and the answer is " Forget it once")
The focus was - How much should you be charging for your service. What is your stay in bed rate, what is your business rate, and what is the rate with both of those combined, with a little extra (and just a little).
For some, the numbers where shocking - something they had really never thought about before. "This is how much it would cost me to stay in bed!"
For others, it was a good reminder of how to properly see where they are now in business, and how much time they need to be putting in, before they get anything out.
Me personally, I had done a similar activity, and new my service cost was near to where it needed to be, but it was good to double check. In addition, I also had the chance to help others in the group and that's really what Go Venture is all about.
If you are in GoVenture #21, and missed yesterdays class, I would highly encourage you to take the make up class later this year, and try and get your hands onto the workbooks
Thank you Jake for giving such a good presentation.
Just a reminder, if you want to participate in this discussion you have a few options:

Have an inspired day everyone,

Hello Go Venture Business Owners!!!
With the encouragement of GV 21's Josh Muirhead and GV 20's Andrew Sorlie and GV 17's James Henderson, we're going to enter the new age of communications. I hope as your comfort increases (and MY comfort increases) that this forum will become a meaningful way to share information, insight, tips and ideas. Stay tuned and link up as you feel you can. Donna
Hi Go Venture folks. For some of you, this will have been very easy to get to. For those of you like me, this will have taken some courage and call or two to Josh. Between us, we want to make this a welcoming, easy thing for all of us to do.
Hi Again... well, I just learned that you don't have paragraphs in a post... you don't hit the 'return' key or you'll be starting a new post (which is what I just did). Anyway, if I can learn how to do this, we'll all benefit, because those of you who are shying away from social network media are just like me. We'll learn together and we'll learn in the company of each other, which is good. I'm grateful to Josh Muirhead for starting this. Once Go Venture 20 and 21 people get comfortable with this, we'll expand it to other Go Venture groups. I'm going to ask all of you to always put your Go Venture # after your post or at the beginning so we can all find each other if we need to. Thanks for now. See you tonight at training!
