ScribbleLive Powers Euroleague Digital Ecosystem Social Wall Gary Parkinson November 16th, 2015 The 2015-16 Euroleague season tipped off on October 15th and this year’s competition is intensified by a new digital marketing campaign that allows “more people to engage and watch the competition in creative ways.” The Euroleague marketing department struck up a number of new partnerships this season, including an agreement with ScribbleLive to power a social wall on the Euroleague website. The league created the social wall using ScribbleLive’s patented data-driven modern marketing cloud. The social wall features all social content related to the Euroleague in one convenient location as new posts are published in real-time.The social wall is part of the Digital Ecosystem that was created by Euroleague this season. The Digital Ecosystem is a hub of multi-channel content curated from websites, social media channels, and a new mobile app with live streaming features that is integrated with social channels. The Digital Ecosystem will help Euroleague fulfill its mission to be featured “on every screen available for the fans.”Euroleague also unveiled in-jersey cameras at the beginning of the season, marking the professional debut of this technology in professional sports. Rayde Luis Baez, Head of Digital & Content Marketing at the Euroleague, says the cameras provide fans “a holistic, up-close view of the action.” On-court moments captured by the cameras are published on social media and embedded onto the Euroleague social wall using the @Euroleague or @EuroleagueTV Twitter handles, as well as any Euroleague club Twitter handles.Euroleague and Turkish Airlines also released a video that is dubbed The Insider presented by Turkish Airlines. The video is described by Rayde as “behind the scenes action with player and coach interviews, and offer the fans at home a full inside look at the event.” The video contains clips captured from the 2015 Euroleague Final Four tournament in Madrid. The 2015 finals were a pilot program for the in-jersey cameras and The Insider video provides a glimpse of the types of content fans can expect as the cameras operate throughout the 2015-16 season.
