  • I always feel sorry for any other developers announcing new products/applications today. They get completely overshadowed (but should know better...)

  • If you're one of our readers who's convinced that Jobs will be presenting today, get on the phone and buy some AAPL stock. It'll rocket if he shows up.

by macappstorm at 6/8/2009 3:30:48 PM
  • Around 1 hour 15 minutes to go. The banners are certainly heralding the speed improvements in Snow Leopard...

  • Having the Exchange functionality built in is now going to be a major factor in pushing the mac into more small businesses. The chance for no more malware causing grief will be such a great selling point now!

  • MacRumors has posted that one banner highlighting Snow Leopard has an iCal icon w/ Jun 19 as the date, and a revamped QuickTime icon. Interesting...

  • Here's a shot of the new QuickTime logo...

  • Will Snow Leopard be an upgrade for free or at a cost? I bought my imac 2 weeks ago, so I wonder what my position will be if its not freebie!
by Gordon Keenan at 6/8/2009 4:16:07 PM
  • by macappstorm at 6/8/2009 4:16:38 PM
  • With a new version of Quicktime, we could see some major speed enhancements of iTunes for both Mac and Windows; that'd be nice.
by joshua at 6/8/2009 4:17:10 PM
  • If not because of WWDC, I have bought a MacBook yesterday! :)
by Mohd Rafie at 6/8/2009 4:19:40 PM
  • Not sure what the significance of the iCal date could be... Maybe a subtle hint that Snow Leopard is coming on the 19th June? That would be earlier than widely expected.

  • Just gotta love the anticipation that Apple generates with their Keynote speeches. Such passion for the brand. Wonder what Snow Leopard has in store for us.
by Antony at 6/8/2009 4:24:55 PM
  • To those asking, I wouldn't expect Snow Leopard to be a free upgrade (though I could be wrong). I'm confident that the price will be announced during the keynote.

  • Several people have asked whether iPhone OS 3.0 will be released at exactly 10am. That's unlikely, though I expect it will be available a few hours after the end of the keynote.

by Marcus at 6/8/2009 4:50:13 PM
  • Guess the release new iPhone hardware is pretty much inevitable. I doubt that it would look any different then the current design. But it's Apple! So you never know.
