Counting down to the big count.
Suzy's made a bid for exclusivity on CNN.
Hmm... off to see what I can snag
I don't want exclusivity! Just one election without John Bowman :)
Exclusivity would be good, give wider view
watching Obama's last hustings speech live on CNN at the moment. He looks tired.
BBC and ITV are doing live coverage and there is SKY News :)
I'll take BBC
Sorry, you think I'm going to accept being left with a choice of ITV or Sky news and just roll over and take it?|
You misunderstand the mettle of the liveblogger you are dealing with.
If I could watch Fox, I would :)
Simon you could have John Bowman! Or MSNBC will be online. Also BBC Radio or NPR is on Newstalk.
I couldn't watch Fox. My mind would bend trying to cope with the quantum flux of the parallel universes they'll have to create if Obama wins.
You'd need a second channel to check for actual facts.
I'll relinquish BBC for any rightwing nuts I can find.. Perhaps a mixed media approach?
Radio for the US election! What do you take me for? Someone who just wants considered thought and analysis? Pshaw! I want ludicrous graphics and over made up bombast.
I think we have to take a leaf from Charlie Bird here.
Frank Luntz might be on Fox :)
We must go to whatever channel has the story, no matter how far up the dial.
Anyone have Al Jazeera?
Said Mr. Luntz apparently already advising the Republicans on where they went wrong.
I will miss Dan Rather's uber-folksy anchoring this time around. I recall he called the 2000 election "mean enough to make a buzzard choke"
LOL
I'm NTL as well. Though I think the Euronews perspective is always worth a look.
It was also 'crackling hotter than a hickory fire'.
CNBC will probably stream MSNBC.
C-Span is available online, and has all the oatmealy worthiness of Euronews but without any of the continental style
Oh I hope they do Alexia - I would like the odd fix of Maddow to get me through the bad bits! (Swooning...)
MSNBC stream live online for big nights I think.
We've to go for a mirrorball effect. Showing everything in all directions to our reader.
I'll cover Sky News in the hope of some Fox tie ups and will trawl the Fox site for live bits
BBC is free
Does anyone know who we've decided our reader should be? We ought to ring them up and let them know their duty.
Waves at our reader - do you see how much trouble we are going to for you?
Sky sometimes take a feed from a US network - not Fox, one of the big three
I'm sure they appreciate it. We wouldn't have given them the job otherwise.
Keith is going to join us from Virgina tomorrow night by the way.
Sky has deals with Fox and CBS for rebroadcast.
Nice. Another US contributer
Also The Hag of Beara (Marie) is in Ohio and I hope to have some news from her tomorrow night.
