Sete remained at the top of the standings in the French men's A League at the conclusion of Round 12, after a 3-1 (23-25, 25-13, 25-16, 25-17) win at home Nantes Reze.
Thibault Rossard served 6 aces and scored a total of 25 points to lead Sete, with Marien Moreau adding another 17. The Czech Republic's Jan Hadrava and The Netherlands' Floris Van Rekom scored 11 each for Nantes.
Chaumont remained in second place, a point behind the leaders, after a 3-1 (26-24, 21-25, 25-20, 25-12) win at Cannes. Ronald Jimemez of Colombia scored 16 points for Chaumont and Jonas Aguenier got 13 for Cannes.
Meanwhile, defending champions Tours are going from strength to strength, with yet another win, 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-16) at Ajaccio, with Konstantin Cupkovic of Serbia scoring 14 points. Tours are now just four points behid Sete, with a game to spare.
The Association of League Clubs in Argentina has confirmed the qualification procedure for the 2016 South American Club Championship.
A tournament to be held at San Carlos de Bolivar will determine the team to join defending South American champions UPCN San Juan in representing Argentina at the continental level.
Semifinals, 24 January: Lomas Voley v Ciudad Voley & Personal Bolivar v Obras Voley San Juan
The winners will meet on 25 January for a spot in the South American Club Championship, scheduled to be held in Brazil.

Iran, meanwhile, are already counting down the days to the combined Asian / World Men's Olympic Qualification Tournament, to be held in Tokyo 28 May - 5 June.
