Watching the Phelps retrospective on NBC now. They are *really* building up this match tonight!

This guy is a beast! I'm pretty sure he could destroy me in pretty much any competition

Bob Costa just said it's not on for another 2 hours. Doh! I guess it'll be around 10pm EST now. Why would Bob lie? :)

I love the NBC commentators making fun of Miley's name and calling her Miley Sirus :)

@Corn Dog: No way, they have both of them?! Do they look like they've been smoking whaky-tabacci?

Katie Hoff is only 19 years old! That's crazy. I feel like a failure now :) She won her heat at 4:34.63

Dale Oen sets a new olympic record 59.41. He would have set a World Record if he hadn't taken an extra last stroke.

Kitajima came back to win the heat. Ohhhhh This was the guy that was accused of the "dolphin kick" at the last Olympics.

Hansen came in 4th! That's a pretty big upset. He was smirking at the camera. "He just didn't look sharp the entire race". As long as his time was good enough, he'll still make the semis.

Interview with Brenden Hansen: "I've got something in my hand I just don't want to show just yet". I wonder if it's a jetpack :)

Too many poker metaphors from Hansen.
