Steve Jobs Keynote @ WWDC08

  • If anyone wants to do a group liveblog of the keynote today, please watch here.
by Jonathan Keebler at 6/9/2008 2:16:30 PM
  • Things will kickoff at 1pm EDT/10am PDT today
by Ryan Engels at 6/9/2008 2:17:32 PM
  • I'm Canadian, so we're waiting for the new iPhone announcement and hopefully, a ship date for Canada :)
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:26:09 PM
  • I'm Mexican and we still don't have the iPhone, at least not officially, some newspapers have reported that it'll be available on June over here. Supposedly exclusively with just one carrier (Telcel). I wonder if it'll be the one announcing today or if they'll rip us off selling v1 leftovers over here.
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:46:05 PM
  • All the Apple stores just went down as usual. Something's coming :)
by Jonathan Keebler at 6/9/2008 2:47:36 PM
  • @Jonathan are you actually at Moscone?
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:49:07 PM
  • @alex: I'm everywhere :) But mostly in Toronto arm-chair quarterbacking this one
by Jonathan Keebler at 6/9/2008 2:49:48 PM
  • Is there anyone actually at WWDC for this? Or are we all just holding hope someone there signs on here? ;)
by Geoff Sowrey at 6/9/2008 2:51:59 PM
  • Steve would probably confirm the rumors that "exclusivity agreements" are officially over, right?
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:52:03 PM
  • If they do, consider the floodgates opened.
by Geoff Sowrey at 6/9/2008 2:52:35 PM
  • We're just spreading rumors so NYT, FT and WSJ have something
    to "report" =)
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:53:10 PM
  • twitter is already down so probably more people would show up over here. let's hope so
by dondy at 6/9/2008 2:54:54 PM
  • by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:57:11 PM
  • @Jonathan let see if you guys "scale" better than twitter and such. Kudos on the interface, it's very clean and useful.
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 2:59:11 PM
  • Just invited people from engadget! I dunno if they are willing to try it out. I guess we'll see :)
by dondy at 6/9/2008 3:03:18 PM
  • not sure what endgaget is... did you mean engadget?
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 3:07:40 PM

  • How does it feel to be on the "bubble"? =)
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 3:12:25 PM
  • It feels like a hefty credit card bill :)
by Jonathan Keebler at 6/9/2008 3:13:16 PM
  • Jonathan, very nice work. I actually had a similar idea a while back called LiveBlabbr but never did get it up and running. Nice execution. It would be nice to see which way the posts are flowing (up or down) a little better.
by Chris at 6/9/2008 3:13:31 PM
  • @Chris: We've been playing with a little grey arrow that floats beside the posts. Would that work for you?
by Jonathan Keebler at 6/9/2008 3:14:08 PM
  • Yezzir.
by Chris at 6/9/2008 3:15:24 PM
  • It scares me to do this, but I need to update the ScribbleLive codebase now to fix the MSN problem. Hopefully it's seamless, but if you don't hear from me again, you might have to reload. If it goes wonky, I'll rollback immediately. Everyone cross their fingers :D
by Jonathan Keebler at 6/9/2008 3:16:24 PM
  • @Jonathan better not touch anything right now =) "
    If it's not broken..."
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 3:16:27 PM
  • /me crosses fingers
    by alex_mayorga at 6/9/2008 3:17:38 PM
  • Ah... I remember being a startup... release new code whenever you want. I miss those days.
by Chris at 6/9/2008 3:17:44 PM
  • Looks good, Jonathan!
by Geoff Sowrey at 6/9/2008 3:18:05 PM

by skube at 6/9/2008 3:22:16 PM
