RT @slmandel: NO FREAKING WAY!!!! Evan Turner hits a 40 foot game winner (if it stands)
RT @slmandel: OK, it was closer to 35 feet, but still, unbelievable shot. OSU survives. Next up on upset alert: Kentucky
RT @greggdoyelcbs: Attn, POY voters: If you've not yet voted, and Evan Turner isn't your pick, resign immediately from the human race
RT @DanWetzel: Beilein: "OK, let give the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft an uncontested 30-footer for the win. Whats worst thing that can h ...
RT @jppalm: realistically, no. RT @batogato: any reason for a william & mary fan to hold out hope for a miracle on sunday?
NIT-ology: UNC now on wrong side of NIT bubble, likely CBI/CIT-bound; so are Buffalo, Fairfield & three Colorado teams:

RT @goodmanonfox: Illinois is pulling away from Wisconsin here, 41-26. The Illini are a lock if they win this one.
Women of Troy on the bubble. Fight on! Get in! RT @ADMikeGarrett Our WBB team faces Oregon in the 1st round of the Pac-10 Tournament tonight
RT @SethDavisHoops If Illini hold on, this will be one of easiest bubble selections in yrs. Only 1 or 2 spots up for debate. | No chaos? :(
RT @ChiTribHamilton: New ESPN Bracketology: #NotreDame a No. 7 seed in Milwaukee. St. Mary's in 1st round, Ohio State in second round.
RT @goodmanonfox Trevon Hughes [of Wisconsin] just hit a 3-pointer to cut the Illinois lead to 54-51 with 38.4 seconds left.
RT @espn4d Canes win, 70-65. The #12 ACC seed into the semis. And VaTech back into bubble trouble? Lucky it's such a sorry bubble this year.
RT @goodmanonfox Illinois holds on for the victory against Wisconsin. Gotta figure the Illini just earned a spot in the NCAA tourney.
Assuming Illinois in, Saint Louis out & VaTech now on the bubble, we have 11 teams fighting for 6 at-large spots. In no particular order: Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Minnesota, Washington, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, San Diego State, Rhode Island, Dayton. Of those, only VaTech and Hall are done playing; everyone else is still alive in conference tourneys. If enough flame out, maybe William & Mary still in the mix??? Or perhaps ASU, Memphis & UAB not dead yet?
Bubble team Ole Miss loses to Tennessee, 76-65. Meanwhile, C-USA lock UTEP routing tourney host Tulsa, making it more likely a 1-bid league.
RT @Mark_Schlabach: Bubble-icious games on tap tonight: Fla/Miss St, Dayton/Xavier, Wash/Stanford, SD State/NM
RT @Mark_Schlabach: Out of all the bubble teams tonight, Miss. State and Dayton probably need wins the most
RT @aglock: Just for fun... VT: 0-3 top 25, 3-4 top 50, 9-8 top 100 including four 90+ losses (Miami 3x). Avg RPI win: 170!
RT @aglock W&M: 2-0 top 25 (both on road in ACC), 3-3 top 50, 6-7 top 100 (2 Ls outside top 65), 3 horrid 200+ RPI league Ls. Avg RPI W: 165

RT @ChiTribHamilton: About to get situated for semifinal Friday at the Big East tourney. #NotreDame, #Marquette looking for first final-game berths ever.
The Big Ten: It's a War! RT @goodmanonfox Purdue has scored 4 points in the first 7:38 of this game against Northwestern. Down 11-4.
RT @BracketDobber: Congratulations to Lehigh, Patriot League Champions!
Bubble Watch Update by @aglock: awful loss for VT; huge win for Illinois; URI has work left to do; Ole Miss NIT-bound?

GOOOO IRISH!!! BEEEEAT 'EERS!!!
They held on. I love it. It's a WAR! :) RT @aglock: Miss. State could wipe out two SEC teams if they hold on here and lose tomorrow.
RT @theupsetblog: New Mexico 39 San Diego St 38. HALF. One of the best 1/2 Ive seen in a LONG time. #themwc
RT @PeteThamelNYT: WVU up 23-17. Feels like more.
Big win for the bubbleicious Women of Troy. Fight On! RT @InsideUSC: USC 80, Oregon 76:

West Virginia 34, Notre Dame 28, 13:50 left. First team to 50 wins?
Notre Dame within 4 points, with 4 minutes left. GO IRISH!
Irish on 11-2 run, within a point with under 3 left.
Mike Brey just used his last timeout, down 3 with 1:35 left. Really?!? Think the Irish might miss that later???
I should add, the TO was in a routine, we-scored-now-let's-regroup sort of situation, not anything desperate/necessary. Fire Mike Brey? :)
Anyway.. West Virginia ball, up 53-51 with 37 seconds left (25 on the shot clock)
Wow. WVU missed, ND rebound, had a good look but missed, couldn't get off another shot amid scramble for rebound / loose ball. 'Eers win.
NC State about to beat Florida State, putting an #11 seed in one ACC semifinal and a #12 in the other. Either is 2 wins from stealing a bid.
Dayton's out, Minnesota stays alive (but probably needs one more win), GaTech & San Diego State probably OK but not absolutely safe, Ole Miss probably out but we can't be sure...so we now (probably) have 10 teams fighting for 6 at-large spots. In no particular order: Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Minnesota, Washington, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, San Diego State, Rhode Island.
If we assume GaTech, SDSU & VaTech are in, and Ole Miss out, then it's 6 teams for 3 spots: Seton Hall, Minnesota, Washington, Florida, Mississippi State, Rhode Island. Of those, Seton Hall and Florida are done playing; the others are still alive in their tourneys. Also, there are still potential bid-stealers lurking, so it could end up being fewer than 3 spots.
If UW loses tonight to Stanford, and then tomorrow, Minnesota loses to Purdue, URI loses to Temple & Mississippi State loses to Vanderbilt ... William & Mary???
