ANTHEMS DONE: The teams have sung their hearts out to the respective Anthems - the Proteas are in a huddle while the English walk off the field in preparation for the 1st T20!
HERE THEY COME: Alex Hales and Jason Roy are walking out to the middle and will be facing up to Kyle Abbott in the first over.
MISFIELD: Abbott bowls straight and Roy whips it to Duminy at mid-wicket, who fumbles and the batsmen trundle through for the first run.
FOUR: Short from Abbott and Hales is off the mark with a boundary behind square on the legside with a well-timed pull-shot.
SHORT: Another short ball from Abbott and Hales pulls behind square but the ball bounces twice before Rabada collects and whips in but the batsmen come through for two runs.
FIRST OVER: Decent first over for the tourists as England completes the first over on 10/0.
KG TIME: Kagiso Rabada takes the second over and is dispatched first ball behind square for 4 runs by Hales, who has raced to 11 off 6 balls.
SHOT: On the pads from KG and Hales whips it through the leg-side for his third boundary! England 18/0.
DRIVEN: A bit of movement through the air for KG but Hales is up to the task and drives the fast bowler straight down the ground for another boundary. England 22/0.
GOOD FINISH: After some good shots from Hales, KG delivers in the block hole and Hales manages to keep it out. England complete 2 overs with their total on 22/0. Abbott to continue from the Wynberg End.
BOOM: Roy has a little shuffle and smashes Abbott wide of long on for the first SIX of the game!
SHOT: Short from Abbott and Roy rocks back and pulls through the mid-wicket region for another boundary. England off to a flyer here - 32/0 after just 2.2 overs.
OH DEAR: Abbott tries to stop Roy from scoring and bowls the ball down the leg-side and is called wide!
GOOD START: England have made a great start to their innings, smashing their way to 36/0 after 3 overs.
FIELDING: Hales drives KG down the ground but great fielding by the captain, Du Plessis, keeps the score to just 1.
GOT HIM: Slower ball from KG and Roy is out! Back of a length and slow, Roy tried to smash it over mid-wicket but he sent it straight to Amla, who moved to his left and claimed the catch. England 38/1.
GOOD OVER: Brilliant over by Rabada, claiming the wicket of Jason Roy for 15. England are 39/1 after 4 overs and we have a bowling change with Chris Morris replacing Abbott from the Wynberg end.
ALMOST: Short ball from Morris and Root tries to hook it but almost hits the ball straight to Rabada fielding on the ring at fine leg.
FOUR: On the legs from Morris and Hales just help the ball on its way past Rabada at short fine leg and to the boundary for four runs.
DROPPED: Hales pulls Morris out towards the square-leg boundary, Duminy runs in, dives forward but spills the catch!
SHOT: Rabada drags his last ball down a touch too short and Root sits back and cuts past point for 4 runs. England 50/1 after 6 overs.
SPIN TIME: Imran Tahir is into the attack from the Wynberg end.
OUT AND OUCH: Got him. Tahir strikes but so does Rabada! Down the leg side form Tahir and Hales tried to sweep but got a top-edge that went towards fine leg. Duminy got under the ball and took the catch, but held onto the ball well as Rabada dived and flew into Duminy. If this was rugby then Rabada would have received a yellow card for tackling the player and using no arms.
OUT: David Wiese strikes first ball! Joe Root tried to cut a ball too close to him and hit it straight to Rilee Rossouw at backward point. England now in trouble on 53/3.
INTENSITY: The South Africans are showing some real intensity in the field at the moment.
SO CLOSE: Morgan almost loses his wicket with the first ball he faces as he cuts Wiese towards point where Rossouw leaps but the ball just brushes his fingers and goes to the boundary for 4 runs.
SHOT: Perfectly timed extra-cover drive from Stokes sends a ball from Tahir to the boundary.
