Melanie Kok and Tracy Cameron are our Canadian hopefuls. They won their semi final with a time of just over 7 minutes.|

The Gold goes to the Netherlands...and the Silver to Finland.
It's Canada's first EVER medal in this event.
They won the bronze by just .04 seconds over Germany.
This event - the Lightweight Doubles - has only been in the Olympics since Atlanta in 1996.

Random fact (because I had no idea what the difference between the lightweight and heavyweight categories was)...the lightweight sculls division is for women weighing 59 kilograms or less and men weighing 72.5kg or less.
