David gave his son (Solomon) the plans for the building...The Bible says David gave Solomon all of the plans that the Spirit put into David's mind...

"How can a person grow up in church and not have any idea what the Gospel is." -Matt Chandler #RN09
The problem is people aren't taught about God very well...they are just basically told that there is a God, and here is how you behave in order to please him...
Matt is talking about how growing up in church and how he doesn't remember much Bible being taught, rather he remembers "don't have sex, don't drink, don't cuss, etc.." we just teach people that they need to change their behavior..
