Wells says "No one has really nailed the persecution in Darfur for example and you're always chasing the story" but we need to revisit the issues - it's a responsibility and it's hard.

Q re Gaza - Sambrook says implication of your question is that it wasn't successful for the Israelis - but I think it was. They were managing the narrative - increasingly sophisticated. They're on Twitter as well. Crude devices such as closing the border work pretty well.
