A few mnremployees have arrived and the police are here now too.
Media have arrived. The police have said that if we don't leave we will be charged with assault by trespass.
The media are here in force. TV, Radio, newspapers. Nicolas is doing great interviews with them. The images are great. Check the website.
The banner looks great hanging from the building. Workers are starting to arrive. The activists are talking to them and explaining.
police have arrived with three cars. <Richard>
They are calling the building manager to ask them what they want the police to do. <Richard>
They may leave the activists locked or arrest them. They would need to cut the thick chains. <Richard>
some police have left. Maybe they going back to the office to send the minister an email! <Richard>
It's been raining on and off, and thundering a bit, but there's an overhang and we've managed to stay dry.

http://twitpic.com/btbj8 - This looks great, I love it. Thanks to the activists locked down.
Radio canada has arrived and is raising the antenna to broadcast live.
Minister Normandeau called our campaigner Niclolas and asked him to take down the blockade. He's refused because she has not promised to act
Cops just checked out our chains and locks to see how they can be cut ... May try to remove us soon
. CTV news showed up with a camera crew. CBC/Radio Canada is still broadcasting live. Montreal Gazette is sending photographer from MTL!
The sun has finally come out in Quebec City - a little warmth for the activists who remained chained to the doors.
Supposedly the minister is writing us a letter to say she will meet with us. Not good enough. We want protection of intact forests not talk.

We rocked this action. The Minister of Natural Resources had no good response. AbitibiBowater had no good response.
Both say they want to talk. We don;t need more talk, we need to see them protect the forest. ....Now.
The doors of this place of destruction are locked! <Richard>
