The power went out on the West end of Toronto around 10pm tonight
The area is approximately Dupont Street to the north, Bathurst Street to the east, Queen Street to the south and High Park/Bloor West Village to the west
Anyone hear an ETA yet? I hear it might be caused by flooding from the melting we've been having, but it's got to be -20 out there!
Toronto Hydro says there is flooding at a power station on Dufferin
I wonder if a lot of people were already asleep and are going to start getting very cold in a couple hours. Lots of people missing their alarm clocks tomorrow morning ;)
Here's the area affected:
I think the TTC power grid has generators, but it won't last all night. That's when the zombies will make their move
It's been out about 2 hours now
I'm taking my dog for a walk to see how dark it is out there. Commenting is on if anyone hears anything
The power is on at Queen St. W and Niagara
Is anyone watching without power? (yes, I understand the irony but they have batteries in computers now) :)
Is it time to call the army, Toronto? :)
Alright, it's 1am. I'm starting to pass-out. If any of the watchers want to keep this liveblog going, shoot me a comment and I'll send you the invite code ;)
