Boris: Never really had a plan. 4th largest in North America. Average time id 45 minutes a day. 50 - 50 Male to female. Users send ave. of 200 emails. Dating is a big aspect of the site but not the focus.

Jeremy: 350 blogs on the network. A magazine company that does not print on paper. The company grew from the passion of people. 250 bloggers contribute. 35MM pages, 9M Uniques. Top 5 blog network in the world. Largest in Canada. 12 Channels of business. Diverse content. 20-40 cents a word. Best content for the right person at the right time.

Jeremy: We have closed application process. Two many people were submitting. Now they are targeting certain kinds of blogs. Can they bring something unique to the table.

Jeremy: About 10 are professional journalists. if you are interested in a story you can just continue to pursue that story to the end. We do a lot of interactive things for our bloggers. Monthly chats. The happy they are the better the work.

Markus: About 5 years ago in his apartment and still is. 20-30 thousands events. Advertising model only. 10M a year in revenue. Now in the process of turning it from a hobby into a business. Laugher... Built the site in two weeks. The average age is 37. 800,000 relationships a year. thousands of marriages. 55 million page views. Its free and it works. If you look for non-smokers the site will only show you non-smokers. 5000 images per sec. The challenges are technology.

500,000 so far, 1B this month. Google has about 4-5B image results. The images need to be indexed and "finger printed". Huge servers and Amazon S3 and cloud services. Want saved us from the deluge of information request was the community they built up. They took it upon themselves to answer questions. Users want to know where there content is on the web. Pro photographers use it it fin copyrighted material. And then there is just people who are curious. Not the group they expected.
